Check out the TerrainView specifications page for hardware requirements. You can also check the performance of your graphics card here. Recommended score for TerrainView is more than 2000 PassMark Points.

Answer:

No and YES. TerrainView can import and visualize your local GIS data without internet connection, but TerrainView is also able to connect global basemap data of different data providers.

Yes, well kinda. Terrainview comes with detailed install instructions and help files to get you started. We also encourage users to submit any support questions or comments to our support staff. We do our best to answer all questions, however if you are new to TerrainView we encourage users to spend time getting acquainted with the general TerrainView functions.

Answer:

TerrainView only runs on a Windows operating system. This means you cannot run TerrainView in Apple OSX operation system. But TerrainView can be run in a virtualized Windows image with VMWARE Fusion on top of OSX.

Answer:

TerrainView 5.0 can be licensed annually for USD 499 and entitle the customer to download all updates to the software and to receive email support. After the one year period ends, the software will no longer function unless a new license is purchased.

Answer:

The release date for TerrainView 5.0 is currently planned at the end of 2017.
